Courage and Hope

“A crowd of troubles passed him by

As he with courage waited,

He said: “Where do you troubles fly

When you are thus belated?”

“We go,” they said, “to those who mope,

Who look on life dejected.

Who meekly say good-bye to hope.

We go——where we’re expected!””

Just love this quote! it is so very true, I have learned that so many times that being with hope and taking action is vital and having faith in ourselves is something we have to have and not let anyone take that away. It is true that there are many people are sapping of energies that they take down others to suck out all the hope they have. The reason I say this is that there are many peoples like that and I am not one of them.

I encourage and engage in peoples hopes and dreams, particularly those youngsters who need and crave hope and opportunities because their futures are vital, our vital futures.

There are many people whose misery needs company!……they are not welcome here! there are many people who just love to feel negative and make others feel negative too, believe me I have experienced that. The important factor is that they all group together, and I don’t fit in with that.

Whenever I think of my niece I hope that all the times I enabled her to see the positives and to feel confident in herself and whenever anyone says or does something negative in her direction I helped her to see it wasn’t her fault they were saying funny stuff. There is something vital I learned on the program I am in that we should never take anything personally.

It is important to recognise that we should never put each other and others down, it isn’t the person and not the situation it is all about words. In rejecting words, we don’t reject the person, that is what I taught Gracie, to help her I would just say “ah they’re just being sillies” that helped her to see that it was just what was said.
